Each store determines which products they want to push and promote; therefore, the training content needs to be available for these products and be localised to each region.
The Totara platform allows Bugaboo to create different dashboards for separate groups of users, which enables them to promote different courses in different regions by setting up separate dashboards. This, combined with the language translations gives the same platform a very localised feel for users, with minimal work required by admins.
Bugaboo are a global organisation, therefore the training they provide needs to be available in a number of different languages. Historically all training would need to be translated manually. We have circumvented this issue by utilising Totara’s language translations along with some unique customisations to fit Bugaboo’s specific use cases.
Bugaboo didn’t want to dictate that their teams learnt whilst on a PC or sat at a desk, instead they wanted the system to be accessible from mobile devices.
Bugaboo have used Totara’s Badges functionality to drive users to complete pre courses and programmes. Each time a user completes a course, or group of courses they are awarded a new badge that is then displayed on their dashboard and profile.
A single platform that provides the ability to undertake all mandatory and localised training.
As a result of the new, more flexible learning management system, Bugaboo have managed to save time and internal resources. They are now able to manage everything in house from content creation to updating the platform rather than having to liaise with a third party.
The platform has helped ensure consistency across each country in terms of training materials provided and in turn the experience that Bugaboo customers have instore. The learning platform has enabled each retailer to receive localised content as well as the ability to develop and devise their own training plan. Information on the platform is available instantly and is accessible via mobile devices meaning retailers and sales teams can undertake training at a time and location to suit.
