As a hugely popular free exhibition which continues to grow in importance, value and attendance year over year, the Learning Technologies showcase is set to have an incredible turnout for 2023. What is Learning Technologies?

Learning Technologies is a Europe’s leading showcase of organisational learning and the technology used to support learning at work. It’s a huge face to face event which focussed on building future skills together across the entire learning community and is expected to see over 9,000 attendees from 50 different countries, along with 200 unmissable seminars and 200 international exhibitors all visit this year.

This year, the event is being held between Wednesday 3^rd – Thursday 4^th May at the ExCeL London, and we’re excited to confirm that BuildEmpire will be exhibiting at stand number K45, along with our platinum alliance partner, Totara, who will be welcoming visitors to enjoy a coffee at the Totara Café at stand CA2.

What’s on the agenda for Learning Technologies?

At the Learning Technologies 2023 free exhibition there will be a number of seminars, features and providers covering all the latest issues in workplace learning and development (L&D). The agenda includes:

But it doesn’t stop there.

As well as the free exhibition, the Learning Technologies conference explores both the latest applications of learning technologies and the emerging practices leading organisations use to build effective learning strategies.

The conference program contains over 30 sessions with more than 90 leading speakers and facilitators, and 2023 promises to bring a huge amount of collaborative, interactive sessions too, all focussing on hot industry topics such as skills, data, AI, personalisation and analytics.

In other words, it’s an event that you won’t want to miss!

What you can expect from BuildEmpire and Totara

We are so excited to announce that BuildEmpire CEO, Fred Thompson, will be hosting his very own FRED Talks!

On Day 2 of the event, Thursday 4^th May, Fred will take to the stage in the Bitesize Learning Zone 3 area at 12:20pm for his session on “5 easy steps to revolutionise engagement in your organisation,” where he’ll be talking through the five simple steps any business can take to increase engagement, improve employee retention and enhance internal culture. This session is not to be missed, but we are not stopping there!

Our Learning Technologies 2023 team also includes Programme Manager Nathanial Treavis, and Junior Project Manager Aaron Clegg too, who will be on hand for live demos, one-to-one consultations and general discussions around all things learning management systems.

Visitors are also welcome at stand CA1 which will be the official home to the Totara Café and the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee, demo the complete Totara Talent Experience Platform, and plan the day.

What’s more, our very own Totara customer, Kevin Avis at the Circle Health Group will be taking to the stage in theatre 4 at 13:55 for a session on life-changing learning by integrating data, talent and people skills. It’s sure to be a brilliant talk!

What we’re looking forward to most

As for us, we’re counting down the days until Learning Technologies officially opens its doors. We’re looking forward to meeting so many new faces, demonstrating our learning management systems at our stand and joining as many of the free seminars as we can.

It’s sure to be a brilliant event, and our team are planning to join as many of the hands-on sessions as we can so that we can take all those learnings, and apply them directly to our own platforms.

For the BuildEmpire team, we’re not simply visiting the show to stand around – we will be in getting involved wherever possible, taking in as much information about the wider L&D space as possible and connecting with the learners around us.
